Storytelling and News
While attending Kent State University, I was a reporter, anchor, and marketing and promotions director at TV2 KSU on campus. In addition, I had three paid internships as a Public Relations executive, TV News Intern at WHIO TV in Dayton, Ohio, and a practicum for the Office of the Dean at the College of Communication and Information. I obtained a bachelor's degree in Applied Communication with a minor in Public Relations. I am currently a news reporter for Spectrum Bay News 9 in Tampa Bay.
My Skillset
I am naturally curious and possess a sharp eye for detail, which I use to find unique discoveries about people and building relationships. I work well under pressure and can quickly adapt to changes which enhances my storytelling. My gift is communicating with people and finding stories within stories to share with the public.
My Passions
Outside of work and coursework, I enjoy nature through hiking and swimming; the beach is one of my favorite places! However, my true passion is public speaking, which is why I have been a member and participant of Toastmasters International.
